East Hollywood

Multicultural East Hollywood is home to traditional restaurants in Little Armenia and Thai Town, plus farm-to-table eateries, laid-back cafes, and gay bars. Frank Lloyd Wright’s Mayan-style Hollyhock House and the LA Municipal Art Gallery, showing work by local artists, sit in Barnsdall Art Park. Vintage boutiques cluster on North Virgil Avenue, and the area is dotted with indie performing arts organizations. According to The East Hollywood Neighborhood Council, East Hollywood is bounded by Western Avenue on the west, Hollywood Boulevard on the north, Hoover Street on the east, and the Hollywood Freeway on the south. It contains the following communities: Thai Town, Hollymont Junction, Hollyset Junction, Little Armenia West, College Village and Virgil Village.
